In essence, we have to be willing to hold ourselves to a higher standard so that we can conform to NARI’s stringent ethical benchmarks and help raise the bar for quality within the overall remodeling industry. We also had to meet all the following requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of continuous experience in the remodeling agency
• Own a firm that gets at least 90% of its sales volume through remodeling work
• Complete at least 16 hours of continuing education
• Complete a comprehensive application detailing our background and experience
• Complete a one-day written examination addressing 20 knowledge areas related to general remodeling practices and business
• Adhere to NARI’s Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
• Submit all required application materials and fees
