We love Midlothian!
“The traditional core of the Village of Midlothian on Route 60 is between two major shopping malls developed later. Midlothian has many neighborhoods; Some examples off Route 60 include Briarwood, Roxshire, and Salisbury to the north; and Walton Park, Queensmill, and Stonehenge West to the south. Woodlake, Virginia and Brandermill, Virginia are communities on Route 360 (also known as Hull St Rd). Midlothian was ranked #37 in CNNMoney’s list of “The Best Places to Live” in 2005 and #99 in 2008.”

Midlothian was the home on the first coal mine in the Colony of Virginia. Coals pits here in Midlothian were first mentioned in notes by William Byrd in 1701 and Thomas Jefferson praised the quality of Midlothian coal. The site is now a beautiful 44-acre park and preserve.
