Leo W. Lantz, President
Born into the contracting business, Leo’s 20 plus years experience in home remodeling and years as the principal corporate officer have given him an extensive knowledge of multiple trades. He has significant experience remodeling older homes in the Richmond area and has earned the Class “A” contractor certification. Leo supports ethical business practices by maintaining corporate membership in the Better Business Bureau of Central Virginia. He currently serves on the Board of the Home Builders Association of Richmond and has actively worked to start a Remodelers’ Council within the organization to support ethical business practices and continuing professional education within the industry. He has earned the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) designation from the National Association of Home Builders. He has also recently earned the Universal Certified Design Professional (UCDP) designation from the National Association of the the Remodeling Industry. He currently serves on the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bathroom Association) Advisory Council for Builders/Remodelers.
Leo donates a considerable amount of energy and professional expertise by serving on boards and councils for various trade, church and school organizations. He has coached recreational basketball in Henrico and Chesterfield Counties. Leo is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and an Honors graduate of The University of Richmond. He is currently serves as the Vice President of the Home Building Association of Richmond.
John Norman, Sales Manager
John comes from an extensive sales and managing background since graduation from Methodist University in the Professional Golf Management Program. John married into Leo’s extended family in 2010 and started soon thereafter working for the company. Leo Lantz Construction was growing to meet the increasing demand for their services. John absolutely loves his job, as he was a HGTV and DIY television fanatic prior to joining Leo Lantz Construction. He takes great pride is guiding clients through the renovation process and is readily available to answer any questions.
John’s primary responsibilities include sales and estimating, as well as project scheduling. John uses Google Calendar to keep our clients informed of their project’s progress. The product has provided a superior level of communication for our clients as well as subcontractors. Renovation projects are invasive to your home, but we make it a very comfortable process and easy transition. Communication is the key!
John resided in Hanover County since 1994 after moving around the country as an IBM rat. He is active is his local church, youth and community. He has a passion for his family, faith, sports of all kinds, and the San Francisco 49ers!
Joshua Price, Lead Carpenter
Joshua is a life long resident of Richmond, Virginia. He is a graduate of Huguenot High School. Leo has known Joshua since he was an infant. His grandfather, Olander, used to paint for Leo. Joshua has progressed over the years from laborer to Lead Carpenter. He is a valued member of our family. He has a wonderful personality and rapport with our clients. He has been known to spend a lot of time in the weight room.
